‘SAVE EARTH COMPAIGN’

To say no to the deterioration of the Earth’s environment, DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave, organized a special ‘SAVE EARTH CAMPAIGN’. The main aim of this campaign was to spread a word about the need to save Earth. The day saw students and teachers of the school participating enthusiastically, joining hands to protect the Mother Earth. Under the guidance of the Principal of the school, Ms. Manju Malik, a special rally was flagged off to spread awareness among the masses about the need to protect mother earth, in order to preserve her beauty. Students did door to door campaigning, advocating the message - “Think Globally, Act Locally”. Students vociferated slogans and distributed informative pamphlets to the passersby to sensitize them about the harmful consequences of damaging Earth and also discussing the measures to curtail the practices which are responsible for this deterioration. The day also saw students participating enthusiastically in various activities organized in the school. The students of Class V participated in Drawing Competition, Class VI participated in Collage Making, Class VII participated in Prime Time News Reporting, students of Class VIII participated in Declamation Competition on the theme “Dharti ki Pukaar”, students of Class X participated in a Magazine Making Competition. Active participation of the students and teachers made the campaign successful.
