‘D.A.V. ESSENCE INTER-SCHOOL COMPETITIONS - 2016’

DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave, organized DAV ESSENCE 2016, a series of inter-school competitions, on August 31, 2016. Around 35 schools participated in this mega event, showcasing the remarkable talent of the young guns in a variety of competitions.
The day began with the inaugural ceremony followed by a plethora of activities. The participants showcased their love for Nature in the Street Play Competition ‘Dharti Ki Pukar’ on the theme of “Paryavaran Sanrakshan”. Participating Teams rendered a salute to the nation in the Patriotic Song Competition “Salaam-e-Hind”. The day saw the children showcasing some amazing taps and moves in the Fusion Dance Competition – “Blend the beats”. The students demonstrated their high end animation skills in the “Digital Trot Out” Competition, making the event a fun-filled learning experience.
The 3-D Mural Art Competition “Shades & Strokes” saw the participating teams exhibiting their aesthetic abilities on the theme - ‘Incredible India’. The show stealer of the day was “Charismatic Cartoons”, a fun-filled portrayal of animated characters, presented by the tiny tots, which mesmerized one and all present.
All the students participated enthusiastically and exhibited their hidden talents, thereby making the event a successful endeavour.
