‘Terrific Teacher's Day Celebrations’

‘A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind and touches the heart’

Great zeal and festivity marked the Teacher’s Day Celebrations on September 5, 2016 at the junior wing of DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave as the school campus was gripped with festive fervor. The festival is a recognition of the devotion with which the teachers undertake the responsibility of teaching a child academically as well as ethically. To bring home this worthy point, the tiny tots of class I performed a skit showcasing the importance of teachers in their lives. Further, to mark this momentous day and voice their feelings of  sincere gratitude for their teachers, the school choir sang a melodious song. Small tokens of love and titles were also conferred upon the teachers as a tribute to the valuable contribution made by them in enlightening  and nurturing the budding talents and preparing them for life.
