‘A Tribute to Mahatama Gandhi’

To pay a glorious tribute to the father of the nation, Mahatama Gandhi, a special assembly was organised in the junior wing of DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. The whole atmosphere carried an air of Gandhi’s thoughts and principles. To rekindle his ideals in everybody’s heart, the students of class - II presented an interesting skit depicting the important incidents from Mahatama’s life. The Gandhi’s philosophy of ‘see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil ‘ was clearly reflected in an inspiring poem recited by the students. The programme concluded with a melodious song by the school choir saluting his values of peace and non – violence.
