‘Effervescence - 2016’

‘Effervescence – 2016’, the cultural extravaganza of Pre-Primary was celebrated on the bright sunny morning of 19th November, 2016 in the lush green lawns of DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave. The joy and happiness of the proud parents knew no bounds upon seeing their little ones putting their best foot forward. The celebration commencedwith the traditional lamp lightening ceremony by the eminent guests of the day – Madam SP Chandla, the manager of the school, Dr. R.K. Malik, a great Hindi philosopher and a rock solid supporter of the school accompanied by the Principal, Ms. Manju Malik , the  supervisory head of the junior wing, Ms. Kiran Jawa and the incharge of the Nursery wing Ms. Bharti Malhotra. The honorable guests were presented fresh saplings as a token of love and heart felt gratitude followed by the welcome address by the Principal. The cheer in the air kept spreading far and wide with each enthralling performance.

The children impressed the audience with their sheer exuberance in everything they did- be it the dazzling dances, euphonious singing or striking dialogue delivery in the skit. The function concluded on a happy note with a splendid grand finale. The tiny tots successfully delineated it to their elders that they shouldn’t let the effervescence fade out from their fast – paced lives. Dr. Malik, the special guest of the day, took to the dais and immensely applauded the effort behind the show. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Ms. Kiran Jawa, the supervisory head of the junior wing.
