‘Scintillating Social Science Week’

The junior wing of DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave celebrated its Annual Social Science Week from 24th-29th December, 2016. The active participation of the students in various activities made the event a roaring success. While the students of classes I and II enjoyed the quizzicals themed - Incredible India , the students of class III showed reverence for their favourite Indian Icons. They not only came dressed up like their favourite Indian Idol but also spoke at length about their ideals and achievements. The Mapping India Quiz organised for the students of class IV was another notable event which aimed at assessing the mapping skills of the learners. A captivating discourse highlighting the intrinsic diversity in the culture of different Indian states made everyone’s heart swell with pride. As the event came to a close, the outstanding performances by the students were applauded and cheered for by everyone.
