Fun n Activity Day for the tiny tots is the much awaited one. The theme for the month of August was ‘Fruits & Veggies- Wonder Food’ for Preschool as well as Pre Primary.  Fruits & vegetables came alive in the junior school premises to avow their nuance in our lives. Today, when peppy pizzas, bouncy burgers and phenomenal French fries have become delicacies, children call for such sturdy steps by the school. 
Feats like carving collage of junk foods in order to shun them away from their life, hand impressions of wonder foods, endorsing fruits and veggies, adorning fruits baskets were on the panel for the petite. 
Such activity days add flavour of fun and enjoyment to their learning and make it an edifying one. They justify the following words of the First Lady,
We can make a commitment to promote vegetables and fruits and whole grains on every part of every menu. We can make portion sizes smaller and emphasize quality over quantity. And we can help create a culture - imagine this - where our kids ask for healthy options instead of resisting them.
