DAV Paschim Enclave Emerges As National Champion
DAV, Paschim Enclave has proven its mettle again by emerging as National Champion in Anuvrat Moral Singing Competition organised by AkhilBhartiyaAnuvratNyas from October 01-04, 2013 in LadnuNagour,Rajasthan, Our team made it to the top outshining more than 22 teams from different states of India. The team has been awarded with a shining trophy, medals and other goodies in a special fecilitation ceremony. School congratulates the event incharges for this glittering success. Kudos! ANOTHER INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT
Yet again, there was celebration and excitement at DAV Paschim enclave, when its students once again bagged international acclaim at NASA AMES SPACE Settlement Contest 2013, which is organized by NASA, USA every year to churn out the best talent in the world in the field of Astronomy and Space studies.The school that had created headlines with the meteoric discovery of asteroids last year, has emerged to be the winner again, with the two ace projects - ANTRAVAAS II and VYOMAVAAS, contending with competent teams from 30 countries all over the world. Project VYOMAVAAS has registered outstanding glory by bagging III Prize in the Technical Category with the special Hon’ble mention for the Meritorious Literature work. Deepak Aggarwal (16), who burnt his midnight oil for Project VYOMAVAAS shares… “I have never been so excited before. It’s just like a dream come true. I owe this success to my teachers - Ms. Sarika Saluja, Ms. Anita Marwaha, Ms. Nimisha Sharma, Ms. Mandeep, Ms. Saroj Sharma, Mr. Amit and above all, the Principal of the school Ms. Manju Malik, who always inspired me to excel.” The school has cornered another milestone with the project ANTRAVASS-II bagging the proud Grade-12 Technical Hon’ble mention for its excellent futuristic vision. The team (Shubham Sharma, Mayank Sharma, Bhavya Ahuja and Drishant) that master-minded ANTRAVAAS-II, describes the success as another shining feather in the school’s cap. The Principal of the school, Ms. Manju Malik, referring to this marvellous success as journey and not a destination, shared that the school is making all earnest endeavours to chisel out the talent of the students in different areas, providing them the best environment to explore and grow. It is noteworthy that last year, too the school had won high laurels in NASA Contest.
