‘Guru Nanak Jayanti Celebrations’

The junior wing of DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclve celebrated the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji on 3rd November, 2017 with great zest and zeal. The special assembly held on the auspicious day started with a melodious song by the school choir in praise of the great saint and preacher. An enlightening skit by the students of class I highlighted the significance of Guru purab and the various rituals associated with this festival. The skit also reiterated Nanak’s belief that God is One and spread the message of peace and harmony among the fellow beings.
