‘REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS’

The lush green lawn of the junior wing of D.A.V. Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave was tastefully bedecked with tri coloured flags as it celebrated the 69th Republic Day with great zest and zeal. The programme began with unfurling our beloved Tiranga followed by an enlightening address by Ms. Usha Gupta, the supervisory head of the junior wing. The tiny tots of Pre–School and Pre – Primary exhibited immense love for their motherland as they danced to the tunes of melodious patriotic songs. The students of Class IV showcased an informative skit highlighting the significance of celebrating the Republic Day. The school choir filled every heart and soul with a feeling of undying patriotism with a melodious song. Although the programme concluded on a cheerful note with an invigorating and power packed dance performance by the students of Class IV, the fun and frolic continued as the students of Classes I-IV enjoyed badge making activity in the classrooms.
