The primary wing of DAV Centenary Public School was abuzz again with the commencement of English Literary Week in its verdant premises from October 13-18, 2014. It intended at honing the literary expertise of the students at large. A mélange of activities were premeditated for the learners.

The little ones of the Nursery Wing had a gala time listening to saucy stories and participating in ‘Show n Tell’ activities.

Having magic wands, plausible puppets and other vital props in their tiny hands, the modest learners of class I stole the stage with their fantastic feats. They also recited rhythmical rhymes with great gusto.  

Their joy knew no bounds when the petite learners of class II solved MCQ’s and participated in ‘Quizzicals’ based on Fairy Tales excitedly. Students of class III decked up as Cinderellas, Red Riding Hoods, little Jacks, Snow Whites and the seven dwarves set the stage on fire with their depiction of fantasy sagas. The scholars of class IV camouflaged Akbars and Birbals in ‘Birbal Burlesque’ and brought their wit and humour alive in the lush green premises.Many other interactive sessions that include showcasing kids’ movies, Spell Check, Vocabulary Verification, designing book marks, book jackets, plausible posters and slogans on importance of English were also on board.The school has been sorting out such edifying accomplishments in order to arouse love for the second language among the learners.
