Consecrated Christmas Celebrations

Welcoming one of the most awaited festivals of the season and the last one of the year, the school held consecrated Christmas celebrations in its lush green lawns. A melange of events was lined up to set the festive mood. Students of class IV presented a scintillating skit to give the audience a new perspective about the real gifts to be treasured. The entertainment level of the skit went a notch higher with a short and sweet dance put up by the little ones.
Through peppy poems and sugary songs, the true spirit of Christmas was stirred among the toddlers. They understood that 
‘If Christmas is not found in your heart, you won’t find it under a tree. Christmas should not just mean a day or time, but a state of mind.’ 
The celebrations concluded with the chanting of Christmas carols by the school choir. The purpose of Christmas was rightly conveyed to the tiny tots….
“Christmas is not only about gifts, the Christmas tree, the decorations, nor the food but to cherish peace and good-will and be plenteous in mercy is the essence of Christmas.”
