As our beloved Tiranga fluttered in the air, everyone’s heart was brimming with patriotic fervour whilst the junior wing of DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave celebrated 72nd Independence Day on 14th August, 2018. The celebration kick started with the traditional flag hoisting ceremony followed by greetings from Ms. Usha Gupta, the supervisory head of the junior wing. The captivating cultural programme featured enlightening speech about our journey to independence, melodious songs  singing glories of our great Nation and a rocking dance performance ,all done by the students who reminisced the brave hearts who sacrificed their lives for the country.

 

Apart from this mesmerising cultural extravaganza, the students also enjoyed making Tri-Colour Caps and Desk Top Flag Decoration. The future citizens of our country, the students, also took an oath to make India not only a   better place to live in but also the best place to die for. The programme came to a close with a roaring Jai Hind, Jai Bharat by everyone witnessing the grand celebration.
