Live a life that matters
Ready or not, someday one’s life will definitely come to an end. There will be no more sunrises, no minutes, no hours or days. All things that you collected throughout your life will pass on to someone else. It will not matter what you owned or what you were owed. Everything will finally disappear. Also, your hopes, ambitions, plans and to-do lists will matter no more. The wins and losses that once seemed so important and necessary will fade away one day. It won’t matter who you were and where you came from, whether you were beautiful or brilliant. All will become irrelevant. So what will matter then? How will the value of days then be measured? What will matter is not what you bought but what you built, not what you got but what you gave to the world. Your success will not matter but what you signified. What will matter isn’t what you learned but what you taught. What will matter is every act of yours that will encourage others to emulate your example. What will matter isn’t how many people you know but how many people will feel a true loss when you are gone. What will matter isn’t how long you will be remembered, but by whom and for what. Life is a promise of today and happiness of tomorrow. Forget the past, don’t worry about the future. It’s your present, make the most of it. Talk to the world, talk to your self and more importantly talk to your soul. Be happy in your aim.
Easy is to climb your bed and rest but it is difficult to scale the Everest. Easy is to think but difficult is to act. Life is not over after all. It is full of rises and falls. Life is a beautiful journey –every place worth enjoying. Live it to the fullest and make it an everlasting memory. Nobody loves life like an old man. Everyday may not be good but there is something good in every day. If you don’t think everyday is a good day, just try missing one. Life opens a number of opportunities to you but you remain afraid of taking the challenge. Once you have started, all your obstacles and problems automatically get solved and you reach your ultimate goal. Just do what you can, with what you have and always remember where you are. God is with you forever. So, don’t tell God how big your problems are but tell your problems how big your God is.Living a life that matters doesn’t happen by chance. It’s not a matter of circumstances. The truth of life is a smile. Thus, forget your sorrows and smile for a while because it can conquer all your sorrows. Keep smiling because it costs nothing but creates much. At the end, choose to live a life that matters, and always keep these few but nice and inspiring lines of Robert Frost with you.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But, I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
