As per the guidelines of CBSE, DAVPaschim Enclave celebrated the Birth Anniversary of SardarVallabhbhai Patel as RashtriyaEktaDiwas on 31 Oct, 2014. A Special Assembly was organised on the day to pay a tribute to the National Hero. The assembly saw students participating actively, sharing their views by thought inspiring speeches. A melodious composition by the school choir aroused the jingoistic sentiments in every heart. Students also took the special RashtriyaEktaDiwas Pledge to work for the unity,integrity and security of the nation. The march past by the NCC students at the end of the assembly added patriotic fervour to the celebrations. The Principal of the school Ms. Manju Malik enlightened the students to be the ambassadors of Unity, Integrity , safety and security. A number of other activities were also organised on the day in both the senior and the junior wing of the school. Students expressed their love for the nation by making posters, paintings and writing jingles. The senior students of the school voiced their concern for the nation by participating in debate competition, organised especially on the day. The school renders a salute to the National Hero SardarVallabhbhaiPatel,thereby aiming to inculcate  good morals and values in the students , encouraging them to take inspiration from the life of the legendary soul.
