REPORT ON QAUMI EKTA WEEK CELEBRATION

As per the guidelines of D.O.E and the Ministry of Home Affairs (G.O.I) ,DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave celebrated QaumiEkta Week from Nov 19 to Nov 25,2014. Studentsparticipated enthusiasticallyto make the celebration,a successful endeavour. During the week, the school organised special assemblies wherein students delivered thought-provoking speeches on various topics. On Nov 19, 2014Harshita of class X A presented her views on-‘ Secularism in India’. The speech inspired the students to maintain harmony and unity in the country. On Nov 20, 2014 ,RupaliSindhu of class IX-A delivered speech on Communal Harmony. On Nov 21, 2014 ,RenuSehrawat of class VIIIB presented her views on ‘National Integration and Events of Freedom Struggle’. On Nov 24, Sonali of class IX C delivered speech on ‘Different leaders of India’ and on Nov 25,2014 TheaChakraborty of class VIII shared her views on – ‘Communal Harmony and the temples of South India’. Such activities sensitize the students to value brotherhood and unity. The school has been leaving no stone unturned to inculcate the feelings of patriotism in the students, training them to be good and responsible citizens.
