Human Rights Day My rights ,your rights, our rights From a mechanic shop came a cry of a boy What are my rights? Education or being a mechanic? From a house came a cry of a girl What are my rights? Doing household work or education? From a house came a cry of a woman What are my rights? Being a slave or a free citizen? ’Every day is Human Rights Day’ was the resounding theme at DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave on 10 December 2014 when 70 years of the United Nations in India were commemorated. ‘Dignity of labour’ and ‘Education for all’ were the main thesis of the day wherein the students of class IV staged a wonderful skit highlighting the importance of education. Through such efforts, the school aspires to engage and connect with young leaders and future agents to promote nationalism and equality for all.
