GREEN WAVE- TREE PLANTATION DRIVE (AUGUST 2015)

Green Delhi Clean Delhi- DAV Paschim Enclave’s small step towards a Noble Mission

A special ‘Tree Plantation Campaign’ was organised by DAV Paschim Enclave with the aim of creating awareness among the masses about the tremendous deforestation and its adverse effects on our Nature. With the noble aim of making our environment clean and green, students pledged to plant more and more trees. School organised a special assembly to sensitize the students to be nature lovers. Students performed a special NukkadNatak- highlighting the harms being caused to the nature due to reckless cutting of the trees. The skit aimed atadvocating the message-‘Let’s make Earth a better place to live’. The School choir presented a melodious composition conveying the message – ‘let’sgo green’. The day saw students participating with zest and zeal. MsManju Malik, Principal of the school enlightened the students to join hands to save the Mother Earth and grow more and more trees to make this planet beautiful. A special rally was also flagged off on the day .Students vociferated slogans and distributed pamphlets to the passers-by, encouraging them to keep the city clean and green. DAV Paschim Enclave has been making endeavours to spread awareness regarding the environmental issues inspiring the students to make our Earth- a healthy planet.
