‘Ardent Environmentalists’

To raise an alarm against the ever increasing destruction of the environment and alert the students about the ill effects of such a massive devastation being caused due to innumerable and rather unbearable human actions, a special assembly was held in the junior wing of DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave on 26th November, 2016 on the occasion of Environment Protection Day. To bring home the point in an effective manner, an enlightening street play titled ‘Dharti Bachao - Ped Lagao’ was staged by the students of class IV, depicting the significance of afforestation in saving this splendid planet. The students exhibited their earnest desire to do their bit to save the environment as they took a pledge to create awareness and sensitise all and sundry about the dire need of saving our magnificent Mother Nature.
