DAV Celebrates ‘World Earth Day’
The Junior Wing of the school celebrated Earth Day on 21st April 2012 with a myriad of educational and fun activities. A special assembly marked the event wherein pupils expressed their views in speeches and agreed to prioritize earth protection. To sensitize and inspire the students about the dire need to preserve our Mother Earth, the day was packed with fun-filled activities for the children which included colouring sheets on the topic “Look after the Earth” by the tiny tots, writing slogans and taking pledge to save the Earth. The students were thus motivated to keep their planet beautiful forever.
