‘DAV ESSENCE - 2017’

DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave, organized DAV ESSENCE 2017, a series of inter-school competitions, on August 24, 2017. Around 30 schools with over 700 students participated in this mega event, showcasing the remarkable talent of the young guns in a variety of competitions. 

The day began with the inaugural ceremony followed by a plethora of activities. The participants showcased their diligent attitude towards the society in the Street Play Competition ‘Khule mein Shauch, Dooshit Soch!’ on the theme of “Swachch Bharat Abhiyan”. Various teams expressed their love for Nature in “Bonsai Bustle”, an art and craft competition. The day saw the children performing gracefully and engrossing the audience in the Dance Competition - “Dance on Chants”. The students demonstrated their verbal communication skills through a satirical representation on topical issues in the competition “Be a Video Jockey”.
The show stealer of the day was “Innova Attire”, an innovative representation of culture, tradition, dress codes and cuisines from countries like Spain, Nepal, Brazil and India by tiny tots, which mesmerized one and all present.

All the students participated enthusiastically and exhibited their hidden talents, thereby, rendering a remarkable impact on the day, making the event a successful endeavour.
