‘Independence Day Celebrations’

DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave celebrated the 73rd Independence Day of our beloved nation with great zeal and enthusiasm in its Tri-coloured bedecked lawns on 14th August, 2019. The celebration started with the traditional flag hoisting ceremony, followed by greetings from Ms. Usha Gupta, the Supervisory Head of the Junior Wing. On this momentous day, the energetic and enthralling performances by the students included melodious patriotic songs by the tiny tots of Pre-School and Pre-Primary and the school choir and the enlightening speeches about our journey to independence. The students also presented an engaging skit paying homage to and revering the brave hearted soldiers who live and die for our motherland. The programme came to a close with a power packed fusion dance performance by the students which filled the whole atmosphere and every heart and soul with great patriotic fervour and left everyone spellbound.
