‘Global Hand Washing Day’

It is rightly said, ”Prevention is better than cure”, and hand washing is the first and the foremost step towards healthy hygiene habits. So, on the occasion of Global Hand Washing Day, DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave organized a special assembly in the school lawn on 15th October, 2019. The assembly kick started with a demonstration of the 6 steps hand washing technique to the students in an innovative and informative sing along manner. The students were also briefed about the importance of maintaining the healthy hand washing habit to ensure proper hygiene and were encouraged and rewarded for being an attentive audience after being asked questions related to the  afore mentioned techniques and information. The whole programme proved to be quite fruitful in reinforcing the importance of adopting and maintaining good hygiene habits.
