‘DAV United Utsav-2020’

Gleam and resonance ruled as DAVCMC organized the second season of the Mega venture- DAV United Festival 2020!!

The event kick started with great pomp and show on 31 January 2020 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi and concluded on 02 February 2020 seizing all the praise and admiration. This festival showcased DAV as a phenomenal organization with educational institutions spread out all over the nation and well established, illustrious and renowned alumni making their mark in all fields. A spectacular exposure was provided to the alumni, students, teachers and parents. A plethora of breathtaking performances on stage, panel discussions, standup comedy, educational stalls, gaming stalls etc had an artistic as well as an innovative approach. More than 50,000 visitors thronged the various stalls and witnessed the mesmerizing performances of the students.

Under the able guidance of the Principal Ms. Manju Malik, the school organised the DAV United Literature Fest 2020 in collaboration with the teams from Hansraj Model School and DAV School, Noida, celebrating Literature and its versatility. Many renowned writers, authors and poets were present at the three day mega event to showcase the beauty of literature. The festival proved to be a grand platform bringing the literature community of DAV under one umbrella. The three day fiesta offered a plunge into the world of literature with an array of events like a Book launch, panel discussions, interviews and motivational speeches, poetry recitation, research paper presentation, and a lot more .The festival was graced by the esteemed presence of Shri Poonam Suri ji, Chairman DAVCMC and Dr. Nisha Peshin, Director PS to unveil the latest creation of Prof. Rama (Principal Hansraj College, Delhi University). Presence of eminent personalities like Dr. Sarojini Pritam, Mr.Harinder Sikka, Mr. R.K. Pankaj added glitz to the fest. 

The festival saw literature lovers from all walks of life relishing the poetry recitations, debates and discussions amidst the sheen of celebrity guests and performers. School Alumni added beautiful feathers to the school’s cap by putting up grand show in all arenas- thought provoking panel discussions and poetry recitations, scintillating music and art performances, message conveying street plays and many more. The game stall put up by the school proved to be one of the major attractions of the fest. 

The students, teachers and the Alumni of the school participated with full zest and zeal to make the mega event grab all the success thereby enhancing the grandeur of DAV United Festival. The street play, music and dance performances by our students was acclaimed by one and  all. They received rave appreciation for their performances and involvement in the mega event.

The festival indeed proved to be a successful endeavor bringing the DAV family under one beautiful umbrella and providing a grand platform to the alumni to showcase their talent and achievements thereby upgrading the prestige of the institution.
