‘Workshop on ATL App Development Module’

DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave under the guidance of Principal Ma'am Ms. Manju Malik organised virtual  workshop on "ATL APP DEVELOPMENT MODULE" on 13 August 2020. The workshop was conducted in three batches for the students of grade 6 to 7, 8 to 9 and 10 to 12.

Over 500 students and 30 teachers participated in App Development training on Plezmo.

The workshop started with the Moto of Atal Innovation Mission to create one million enterprenuers and saying of Mr. R. Ramanan " Why to be a job seeker when you can be a job creator'. He advocated all to be a part of Aatm Nirbhar Bharat and become self reliant.

The ATL incharge explained that ATAL Tinkering Lab is not only for science students rather it's a makers space you just need to be innovative, brainstorm, ideate, prototype and inspire to motivate the students.

The workshop further discussed, AIM in collaboration with Plezmo that has launched an app development platform which allows to make mobile as well as webapp.It doesn't require any hardcore coding, it's just visual block based coding. It is the need of the hour to develop skills such as computational thinking, problem solving and design thinking.

Plezmo allows unique features such as providing and customizing various app elements of canvas, label, textbox, image and many more.

App design and app functionality are two main features one must keep in mind before designing with a hope that many of our students will enroll for this amazing course and earn badges and certificates.
