‘VIRTUAL FAREWELL TO MR. S.K. SINGHAL & MR. NARESH KUMAR’

DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave organized the first ever, one of its kinds Virtual farewell function to bid adieu to Mr. S.K. Singhal and Mr. Naresh Kumar who superannuated on 31 July 2020.

Mr. S.K. Singhal held many positions such as,  Head of the Department- Science, Floor in charge, in charge for tours and excursions during his 29 years of dedicated service to the school.  Mr. Naresh worked as a Non-teaching staff member for 25 years for the school; he has always been dedicated and versatile in his duties of handling work from school library to photography and much more.

The school though physically closed organized a virtual yet extraordinary farewell to both the members. The day began with a formal welcome to Mr. Singhal and Mr. Naresh and their family members through virtual floral greeting followed by Gayatri mantra, continuing the DAV tradition and a beautiful composition by the music department. Special videos were created to pay tribute to Mr. Singhal and Mr. Naresh’s dedication, sincerity and celebrate their beautiful journeys made the day even more memorable. Beautiful poems composed by staff members appreciating Mr. Singhal’s and Mr. Naresh’s endeavours added colours to the celebration.

All staff members, though sitting at home were enthusiastic and zealous to attend this function and many of them poured their heart out to praise their worthy colleagues. Recollecting some of their unforgettable days and learning experiences, Mr. Singhal and Mr. Naresh thanked the school management, teachers and students for their infinite support. Mr. Singhal’s family members also shared their feelings on the day and wished him good luck for the future. Speaking on the occasion, the Principal of the school, Ms. Manju Malik thanked Mr. Singhal and Mr. Naresh  for their unmatched dedication and earnest efforts in the progress of the school. The school will surely their unmatched professional expertise and dedicated efforts.
