‘Dengue Awareness Rally’

The eagerly awaited monsoons ,not only brings along with it a blessed respite from the scorching summers, but it also carries in its wake a number of dangerous diseases like Dengue, Malaria, Diarrhea etc. But the young health enthusiasts of Junior Wing of DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave sure know how to keep these diseases at bay. Spreading their awareness about the subject in the vicinity too, the students of Class IV, carried out a ‘Dengue Awareness Rally’ on July 13, 2018 in Mianwali Nagar. The children, with their striking slogans and banners, exhorted the onlookers to be wary of stagnant water and the breeding mosquitoes. Sharing some useful tips to prevent falling prey to these diseases, the young children encouraged people to end the menace of mosquitoes through caution, cleanliness and community participation.
