'Teej Utsav'

The monsoon festival of Haryali Teej was celebrated with great zest and zeal in the junior wing of the DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave on 5th  August, 2016. The tiny tots of Pre- School and Pre Primary , all decked up in the traditional Indian costumes, looked utterly adorable. The  colourful celebration included a ride on the bedecked swings, rhyme recital and an engaging skit by the students. While the girls enjoyed wearing colourful bangles and the scintillating scent of henna being applied on their little hands, the boys looked suave with a bright tilak on their forehead. The taste of the delicious mouth watering Ghevar tickled their taste buds as they relished the traditional Indian sweet. It was indeed an enjoyable experience for one and all.
