‘Rhythm - 2017 (The Annual Fest of Junior Wing)’

The Rhythm of Life – An Endless Melody!

The aesthetically bedecked lawns of the Junior Wing of DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave witnessed the most splendid winter evening as the school celebrated its much awaited Annual Day for the tiny tots of Pre-Primary on December 08, 2017. The gala event commenced with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony by the esteemed guests, followed by a welcome address by the Principal of the school, Mrs. Manju Malik who also took the honour of presenting the school’s annual report of the past session. Honourable Shri Ravinder Kumar, Secretary DAVCMC, consented to be the chief guest and graced the occasion with his benign presence. Dr. S.S. Khanna, Vice President DAVCMC and the guest of honour for the eventful day, enlightened the audience with his words of wisdom and boosted the confidence of the young participants.

The enchanting extravaganza boasted of an astounding amalgamation of music, dance and songs by the toddlers. The enthusiastic participants stole the show with their energetic and mesmerizing performances on peppy songs. Everyone was left spellbound as the little ‘yogis’ danced their way into the hearts of the audience amidst the melodious spiritual chants. The young brigade also took it upon its shoulders the ethical responsibility of ‘a clean and green India’ as it showcased an enthralling enactment, “मोदी जी का सपना, स्वच्छ हो भारत अपना” The mesmerizing medley of Indian Folk Dances left everyone awestruck and  captivated their heart and soul.

The spectacular event came to a close with the Vote of Thanks proposed by the supervisory head of the Junior Wing, Ms. Usha Gupta.
