‘Season Souvenir’ served at DAV

“Every child is gifted. They just unwrap their packages at different times.”

Having strong belief in the above said lines, DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave has been instrumental in organizing cultural extravaganza every year with participation of all the tiny tots of the nursery wing so as to give vent to their hidden flair as well as traits.The thesis for the show organized this year was ‘SEASON SOUVENIR’. The elite comprising of  Chairman of the school, Sh. Ravinder Kumar ji, Manager of the school, Ms. S. Chandla, Dr. Rajkumar Malik, an eminent Hindi writer as well as Mr. Goel, a staunch Arya Samajist graced the occasion with their benign presence. The worthy parents of all the little ones were special invitees.

In keeping with the DAV folklore, the programme inaugurated with the illumination of the knowledge lamp symbolizing erudition by the Guests, Principal and the parents. Principal Manju Malik addressed the cream of the crop and proposed the Annual School report. The function commenced with an ode to the Muses through Saraswati Vandana.

The timeless splendour of all the four core seasons was showcased at its pretty best through sensational skits and dazzling dances. Be it Koli dance at Goa beaches, ravishing rain jazz, Christmas couplets or sanctity of spring, the little learners enthralled the audience with their splendid performances.  The feat concluded with a brilliant fashion show that seasoned the entire event.

The eminent guests applauded the ardent ardor of the tiny tots as well as the entire staff fraternity. Ms. Kiran Jawa, Supervisory Head, Junior Wing expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards the Chief guests as well as the luminaries for witnessing the stupendous show.

The cultural feat accomplished with a vow to revert in a span of a year with the same zeal and zest in the lush green lawns of the Junior Wing of the school.
