‘Republic Day Celebration’

The beautiful morning of 25th January, 2019 witnessed a grand celebration of the 70th Republic Day in the tri-coloured bedecked lawns of the junior wing of DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave. Every heart swelled with love and pride for the nation with the unfurling of our beloved Tiranga by Ms. Usha Gupta, Supervisory Head of the Junior Wing, followed by her greetings and warm wishes for everyone. The chill in the air was subsided by the warmth of the patriotic fervour which could be felt everywhere around us as the school choir sang a melodious patriotic song. The students of class IV rendered everyone spell bound and speechless with a fantabulous dance performance on a medley of foot tapping numbers. The enlightening speeches by the students of class IV also instilled a feeling of national pride in everyone’s heart. Apart from this the students also enjoyed an assortment of activities such as making tri-coloured flags, badges, caps etc. Indeed the programme succeeded in igniting the feeling of living and dying for our motherland in one and all !
