REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS-2016

DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave  celebrated 67th  Republic day with full zest and zeal.  Following the dictum of ‘ Hum Sab Bhartiya Hai’  colourful cultural events filled with jingoistic fervor were organized in the special assembly on the day . The day began with the flag hoisting by the Principal of the school, Ms. Manju Malik along with the President and the Prime minister of the School Parliament. The tunes of ‘ Jana Gana Mana…..’ echoed all around. On this occasion Ms.Manju Malik rendered a motivational message to the students, sensitizing  them to work earnestly for making the country healthy, prosperous and green. The day saw students voicing their feelings for the Nation , adding patriotic hues to the celebration.  The school choir enthralled the audience with a melodious composition . This harmonious presentation was followed by the prize distribution ceremony to felicitate the shining stars of the school who have proved their mettle in different fields. Students paid homage to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar for his valuable contribution and pledged to work for the country’s betterment, to be responsible citizens of India and follow the path of peace, harmony, unity and progress.
