OBJECTIVE:

  • To sensitize students with patriotic feelings.
  • To mould them into responsible and good citizens, bearing good moral character.

To create a human resource of organized, disciplined, trained and motivated youth, the school has started a unit of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) – 6Bn Delhi, for boys only. Students who have completed 14 years are eligible to apply. The Cadets undergo a total of 50 parades in a session. Every week there are two classes of 1hr and 20 min each. A trained NCC officer conducts the classes. The uniform is also supplied by NCC. The school provides refreshment to the Cadets after each parade.
The purpose of NCC is to develop in students leadership qualities and organisational skills. They are trained in handling of arms, which could help the nation in emergency. In addition, the cadets are trained in drill and marching and encouraged to undertake social services. In case of calamities, they are send as relief squad to lead kindly light. They are made environment conscious and encouraged to take up activities in this direction. Periodical camps are held for the cadets,which help in inculcating the feeling of national integration and foster social development.
