Every Day is Earth Day 

On 22 April 2014, the zealous students of D.A.V. Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave celebrated Earth Day with a myriad of fun and educational activities. To sensitize and inspire the students about the dire need to preserve our Mother Earth, the day was packed with fun-filled activities for the children which included planting emerald saplings, narrating poems on Nature, designing bravura badges on the topic ‘Be A Nature Lover’, writing slogans and taking pledge to save the Earth. Having placid placards in their tender hands, the students of class IV scurried the paths of the vicinity articulating strident slogans ‘ God gave us green- Let’s keep it clean’ and  ‘Cleanliness is next to Godliness’. Students displayed handmade banners alerting everyone about the harmful affects of pollution and the necessity to save our earth.This spirit is carried forward by the earnest students of the school every now and then. They fervently and zealously take part in the drive to save ‘Mother Earth’ by contributing their petite efforts.
