INSPIRE AWARD - MANAK 2021-2022 organised by DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY (DST), GOVT. OF INDIA
The INSPIRE scheme (Innovation in Science pursuit for inspired research) is one of the programs executed by DST with the National Innovation Foundation. The aim of the scheme is to motivate innovative thinking among school children.
The journey of this amazing idea has been started in September 2021 with the virtual Meeting to mobilize INSPIRE Awards - MANAK 2021-22 nominations. Under this scheme, Tejeshwar Mishra of class 9th has proposed a marvelous idea for helping woman under the guidance of Mrs. Ekta Thakur (TGT Natural Science) and with the eminent support and motivation of HOS Ms. Manju Malik of DAV CENTENARY PUBLIC SCHOOL, PASCHIM ENCLAVE. It is a matter of pride that the idea has been selected for district level exhibition and the student has been awarded by prize money of rupees 10,000 for the further execution of the project.
Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research' (INSPIRE) scheme is one of the flagship programmes of the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. The INSPIRE Awards - MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge), being executed by DST with National Innovation Foundation – India (NIF), an autonomous body of DST. The objective of the scheme is to target original ideas/innovations rooted in science and societal applications to foster a culture of creativity and innovative thinking among school children.
Under this scheme, schools can nominate 5 best original ideas/innovations of students through their website.
It is a matter of great pride for Dav Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave to share that two students of our school named Daksh Sheoran and Tejeshwar Mishra of class IX have qualified for the prestigious DLEPC under INSPIRE Awards – MANAK 2021-22 this year.
