DAVPE is glad to share that students of classes XI and XII (Humanities) participated in MOOT COURT competition organized by the Criminal Justice Research Cell of The University School of Law and Legal Studies of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka in collaboration with the University of Pretoria, South Africa, Kathmandu School of Law and Global Campus for Human Rights under the guidance of Principal of the school Ms. Sonia Malik.
The MOOT COURT was based on a hypothetical case involving the issue of domicile reservation in education institutions. The students were required to prepare written submissions (Memorials) and present oral arguments in front of a panel of eminent jurists.

Takeaway / Learning Outcomes:
The MOOT COURT competition provided a platform to the students to learn about the legal system and to develop their critical thinking, research and advocacy skills. It also helped to bridge the gap between school students and Law students.
