Under the guidance of the Principal of the school Ms Sonia Malik, DAV Paschim Enclave celebrated Pi Approximation Day on July 22, 2023. Pi plays an integral part in determining the area and volume of a lot of geometric shapes. Many trigonometric and geometric calculations are impossible without the use of Pi. When placed in the date/month format, July 22 looks like 22/7 - which is an approximate value of Pi. Hence the day is celebrated on July 22 every year.
 

A plethora of activities were organised to teach students about the value of Pi like Playing with pi for students of class VII and Exploring pi in various objects of surrounding for students of class X.
