Under the able guidance of the school Principal Madam Sonia Malik, India a Majestic Melange a cultural fest for the parents of class IV students was organised on August 11, 2023 in the lush green lawns of the Junior Wing of the school. The aim of the celebration was to stimulate and provide a dynamic, educational experience that empowers students to become informed global citizens and future leaders who can contribute meaningfully to international affairs. The event began with DAV Gaan and the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony. The welcome address by the school Principal set the expectations of audience soaring high and motivated students and teachers alike.

The value of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” and “Nation First” were instilled in the hearts of young patriots. The melodious welcome song, musical ballet depicting freedom struggle, tableau presentation etc. left the audience Spell bound. The chief guest of the day Dr. N.K. Uberoi and guest of honour Madam Manju Malik, ex principal of the school blessed the students with their pearls of wisdom. The day was a perfect example of collaboration as suggested by NEP 2020. The students were aligned with the core principles of G20 by emphasising unity, cooperation and a shared responsibility of making this event a resounding success. The thought provoking speech on the current theme India’s G20 presidency was deeply inspiring. As the curtains drew to a close, Ms. Richa Gandhi, the supervisory head of the Junior Wing, proposed the vote of thanks and expressed sincere gratitude to the esteemed guests for adding an aura of honour to the event.
