International Literacy Day is celebrated every year on September 08, 2023. This International Literacy Day, under the able guidance of the school Principal Madam Sonia Malik, DAVPE took an oath to bring a change in the society. The Junior wing of the school took a new initiative *Each one teach one campaign.* A step eyeing towards uplifting the society. Wherein the students volunteered to buddy a child and educate him/her over the weekends. Thus reminding the students of the importance of literacy as a matter of dignity and human rights, and to advance the literacy agenda towards a more literate and sustainable society.
 

Through a very thought provoking and inspiring value talk Ms Veena Pandey gave an insight on the progress made over the years and the literacy challenges persisting. The day highlighted the role of literacy in the lives of humans.
