The purpose of this workshop was to introduce and educate teaching staff on the benefits and practical implementation of brain gym exercises in the classroom setting. It not only enhances learning skills, but Helps in Building Brain Strong and Keeping the Memory sharp.
The workshop was highly interactive and engaging, with a focus on experiential learning. The facilitator started with a comprehensive introduction to brain gym exercises, emphasizing their history, principles, and the scientific basis behind them. The Resource persons shared many Neuro Gym exercises like Bumble Bee Breath, Brain Buttons, Double Doodling, Foot Tap, Lazy 8, Tiger Pose, Owl movement, Hook ups and many more. Practical strategies and tips were shared for seamlessly integrating brain gym exercises into daily lesson plans, taking into account age-appropriate activities for different grade levels. These activities can be taken up as a transition or at the beginning of the day etc. In conclusion, the workshop on "Brain Gym Exercises in Class" was a valuable initiative that has the potential to positively impact our students' learning experiences.
