*Global Handwashing Day is observed every year on October 15.* It is a reminder that handwashing with soap and water is one of the best steps we can take to avoid getting sick and spreading germs to others. Teaching students about handwashing helps them and their communities stay healthy. *In order to acquaint the students with SDG-3 - Good Health and well being, a special assembly was organised on October 12, 2023* at DAVCPS, Paschim Enclave under the able guidance of Madam Sonia Malik, the principal of the school.
 

The students of Class III performed various activities like a theme based dance, step by step presentation of correct method of washing hands to make them germs free etc to enlighten the students about the importance of handwashing. Furthermore, a value talk was taken up by Ms. Shaji guiding the students more about personal cleanliness and hygiene.
 

There were different activities taken up in all the classes from Pre-school to class IV to let the students understand what these tiny microbes can do if they are not wiped off on time.
