International Poverty Eradication Day is celebrated on 17th October every year. On this occasion students of DAVCPS, decorated the board with the Statistics of poverty rate in different countries, states, relevant slogans and SDG posters. Students expressed their views in the morning assembly highlighting the various anti- poverty programs like MNREGA, PMRY and SJSRY. These programmes have reduced absolute numbers of poor in our country .
 

The central idea of the assembly was to advocate the message - 'Let us fight poverty not the poor in the country.'
