Under the able guidance of the school Principal Madam Sonia Malik, the Junior Wing of DAV Centenary Public School celebrated Mother’s Day on September 19,2025 with great joy and enthusiasm under the Parent Partnership Programme. The day was dedicated to honoring mothers, recognizing their unconditional love and strengthening the bond between parents, children and the school.

 

The event began with a warm welcome to all the mothers by the school Principal, highlighting the significance of motherhood. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, excitement and togetherness as a series of fun-filled activities were organized for mothers and children to enjoy together.

 

The highlight of the day was the musical chairs, where mothers participated with great zeal, creating a cheerful and lively environment. Glass balancing and the traditional dog and bone game brought out the sporting spirit, while also adding moments of thrill and entertainment.

 

To nurture creativity, a nameplate craft activity was organized. This activity not only encouraged artistic expression but also strengthened the sense of teamwork between parent and child. Another engaging activity, Dress Up Your Ward, gave mothers the opportunity to showcase their creativity filling the room with smiles and admiration.

 

The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the supervisory head of the junior wing Ms. Richa Gandhi, to all the mothers for their presence and participation. The program successfully reinforced the idea that parents are invaluable partners in the growth and development of children and their involvement enriches the school community.

 

The Marvellous Mother’s Day celebration was truly a memorable occasion – a blend of love, fun, creativity and togetherness – leaving everyone with cherished memories and smiles.
