DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave organized an engaging orientation programme to warmly welcome parents and students joining the institution on March 30, 2026. The programme formally commenced with a welcome note by the dynamic Principal Madam Sonia Malik, who greeted the new families and shared an inspiring vision of the institution.The key highlight of the programme was an interactive warm-up activity conducted to help parents and students feel comfortable and connected with the school environment. The activity created a positive and friendly atmosphere, encouraging participation and easing initial apprehensions.
It was followed by a detailed briefing on the school’s ethos and core values, emphasizing the importance of kindness, curiosity, discipline, and respect in shaping young learners by the Supervisory Head Ms Kavita Sachdeva. A comprehensive virtual school tour was given to familiarize parents and students with the various facilities and infrastructure, ensuring they felt confident and oriented within the campus.
The session also included an insightful talk by the School Counsellor, who highlighted the importance of emotional well-being, student adjustment, and open communication between parents and the school. Additionally, the Medical Officer addressed health and safety protocols, emphasizing the importance of hygiene and student wellness.
The programme concluded on a reassuring and informative note, leaving parents confident about the supportive and nurturing environment provided by the school.
