LIFE SKILLS WORKSHOP- 2014

Life Skills at DAV

We, at DAV Centenary Public School, expect education to prepare young people for the world of work and to enable them to live constructively in responsible communities; and to enable them to live in a tolerant, culturally diverse and rapidly changing society. Perhaps above all, we expect education to help young people to build lives that have meaning and purpose in a future we can scarcely predict.

It is essential that a child grows up to be a compassionate human being. At the same time it is crucial that they learn to shoulder their responsibilities at an early age.

All these behaviours are being incorporated in a child’s life by introducing ‘life skills’ in their daily life. To keep this spirit up and high, the school schedules a plethora of activities for the learners throughout the year.

Edifying workshops are conducted for the learners of class I-IV in order to aware them about the importance of teamwork, positive attitude and self awareness. They learn to tie shoe laces, polish their shoes and expertise the art of packing school bags and gift wrapping.

All the students relish these activities and at the same time learn how to handle problems encountered in daily human life. They serve their true purpose.
