‘Cleanliness Drive’ launched at DAV

Cleanliness was very close to Mahatma Gandhi's heart. In accordance with ‘Swachh Bharat’ Mission launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave organized Cleanliness Drive in its lush premises.The Drive comprised of assorted activities like Cleanliness campaign in the vicinity aiming to instill the old and young with the importance of ‘Keeping Clean’, Sensational skits urging the audience to maintain hygiene, designing posters with rousing slogans as well as expressing their concern through  exciting essays. Global Hand Washing Day was also celebrated as a part of the drive. Students were given valuable tips on worthy ways of washing hands by the medical officer of the school, Dr. Anshu Asri

‘Be the change you want to see in the world.’…Mahatma Gandhi

The school firmly agrees with Mahatma Gandhi. On every Friday of the month, all the diligent students of the school bring a rag along with them to clean their classrooms, window panes and corridors etc. as a routine. It aims at inculcating dignity of labour into their minds. Special Assemblies are also organized time and again so as to aware the future generations of the dire need of such feats. The initiative by the school proved to be an entertaining, enriching and enlightening experience for the students.
